In a letter written to the Editor of The Hindu English daily, Jamaat’s media coordinator Dr. S Q R Ilyas has said, “If this policy of maligning Muslim Organisations especially Jamaat e Islami Hind is continued, we will be left with no other alternative but to seek legal remedy”.

Dragging them to the court may not be the best option. But, it is also a fact that it has its own utility value.
Remember, when INDIAN EXPRESS broke the story of ongoing family politics of The Hindu and impending expulsion of Mr N Ram, what was his reaction? He threatened to sue the newspaper.
